Attorney General Rob McKenna Meets With AGC

(AG Rob McKenna, Steve Davis of Mountain West Construction, Darron Pease of Pease & Sons, and Loren Pease of Pease Construction.)

AGC members met with Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna to discuss the issues he has worked on during his term and his re-election campaign.

McKenna stated that he and his office have been working to protect people from identify theft, fighting meth production in our communities and encouraging open government. Under McKenna, the Attorney General Office was the first state agency to implement a performance management plan that rewards high-performing employees who achieve rigorous goals. This process is now being adopted though out state government.

AGC members also talked with AG McKenna about the Supreme Court’s Mike M. Johnson decision and what could be done when they feel unfairly treated by a state agency.

Attorney General Rob McKenna has been a friend of the AGC’s and the construction industry for years and is up for reelection this fall. This breakfast meeting was hosted by AGC member Gene Colin, Ferguson Construction.
