| Health and Safety Training |
|
AGC’s Safety Services Department offers training on a wide variety of safety and health topics at little or no charge. Trainings include:
OSHA 10-Hour A 10-hour certification training on workplace safety and health issues in construction. Topics include fall protection, trenching/excavation, electrical safety, scaffolding, confined space, personal protective equipment, tools, fire prevention and protection, and hazard communication.
Hearing Conservation A hearing loss prevention training designed to help companies comply with WAC 296-817. After completion of the training, AGC members may check out a dosimeter and sound level meter to perform job site hearing screenings on site. Safety Services staff is available to assist with the screening.
Soft Tissue Injury Prevention Training 5 training modules designed by AGC to reduce workplace soft tissue injuries are available. Includes trade specific tip sheets on methods to reduce exposure to soft tissue injury risks.

| Hearing Conservation |

Sound Level Meter Checkout & Dosimeter Checkout: Safety Team
inspections now include sound level meter readings. AGC Safety
Department has two dosimeters and one noise level meter available for
checkout. AGC safety staff are available to take readings if
necessary. Call AGC Safety Department at 206.284.0061 or 800.562.2868
for info.
