Consultants can represent you on protests and appeals up through the mediation hearing before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA).

Consultation
Claims Consultants are available to consult with employers on any industrial insurance issue. They can act as liaison between company and LNI, vocational counselor, physician, attorney, or act as representation at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals, etc.
Claims Review
Claims Consultants review all members industrial insurance claims on an ongoing basis to facilitate action plans to expedite claim resolution. Indemnity claims are targeted to ensure light duty return to work efforts, as well as, kept on salary benefits are being addressed. In addition, all occupational disease claims are targeted for assistance in obtaining the workers employment history and clarification from the doctor as to the specific duties the worker performed which contributed to the development of the occupational condition. Potential long-term disability claims are identified and claims consultants are in contact with members regarding AGC action plans to assist in controlling potential losses.
On-site Individualized Consultation/Training
Claims Consultants are available to travel to your job-site to talk with employees or management staff on the LNI claims process, the costs, some effective loss control practices, and the bottom line benefits of working safe.
Think Tanks
Roundtable discussion regarding LNI issues. Topics are member driven. Members can discuss their difficulties with LNI and learn from other member's best practices. Retro consultants LNI practices & recent changes to policies, etc
